On February 12, Tucson Medical Center’s Labor and Delivery department delivered 28 babies, marking its busiest day on record! On average, the department sees between 12 to 18 births per day. This milestone highlights the incredible staff at TMC and their commitment to providing patients with exceptional care during this momentous and exciting time. The entire women's division came together to support moms and babies, ensuring they received the highest level of care on this record-breaking day.
“It takes a village to raise a baby and it takes a village to carry those babies from labor and delivery all the way to discharge,” said Joy Upshaw, Chief Nursing Officer at Tucson Medical Center. “I would like to thank the entire women’s division and our providers. You make TMC a great place to birth patients.”
