Cancer doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed – it touches family, friends and entire communities. That’s why the TMC Health Cancer Center is launching Going Beyond: Surviving, Fighting & Thriving, a series of events and experiences designed to uplift, connect and empower.

Going Beyond includes Meet Me Mondays, a free social walk/run every Monday in October that serves as a reminder that no one walks alone. To kick off Meet Me Mondays, there will be a walk and resource fair on Monday, Oct. 6 at Corbett’s, 340 N. 6th Ave.

At each weekly event there will be Doc Walks (guided walks with a TMC Health Cancer Center oncologist), “Pickle Me Pink” pickleball, incentives, raffle prizes and more.

Featuring a wide range of topics, the TMC Health Cancer Center’s team of care providers will share their expertise and offer guidance at a series of lectures supporting cancer survivors and their loved ones at TMC for Seniors, 2695 N. Craycroft Road.
