As healthcare workers, we know firsthand the importance of safe, reliable transportation - it is critical to accessing healthcare, work, school and daily life. That's why TMC Health supports Propositions 418 and 419. These measures are about more than caring for our roads - they're about caring for the communities we serve. 

Propositions 418 and 419 create a 20-year, $2.67 billion plan to repair major roads, expand transit services for older adults, people with disabilities and rural residents and improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists. Contrary to what you may have heard, it does all of this without raising taxes. Rather, it renews the current half-cent sales tax that voters approved in 2006. 

Ballots have been mailed and will hit your mailboxes later this week. Please consider a yes vote on these important measures. Make sure to mail your completed ballot by March 3.
