Onboarding and employment details

Start date and status

The transition from Arizona Oncology to TMC Health has been updated and will officially take place on April 1. Staff offer letters are going out and will continue to be sent over the next few weeks.
Please Note: Your benefits will officially start on April 1, so as long as you stay with Arizona Oncology through the transition to TMC, you will not have a lapse in benefits.
As you may have noticed, staff joining us on April 1 will initially be hired as per diem employees. This approach allows us to complete necessary onboarding tasks, including employee drug testing, issuing staff badges and conducting orientation.

EPIC training

TMC Health will be hosting EPIC training for oncology staff to help ensure seamless integration and proficient use of the EPIC electronic health record system. This training will focus on patient charting, treatment planning, scheduling and documentation. Staff will gain hands-on experience with the system through interactive sessions led by TMC Health trainers, ensuring they feel confident in navigating and utilizing the platform effectively.
The training is essential for streamlining patient care, improving communication and enhancing overall efficiency. Attendance is required as it will prepare staff for a smooth transition and optimize daily operations.
If you have any questions or require clarification, please feel free to reach out. Again, we look forward to having you as part of our team, working together to make a difference!
