TMC Health Cancer Center Radiation Oncology recently implemented a new radiosurgery system that offers a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery for some cancer patients.

Using precise radiation beams, the Varian Edge radiosurgery system ablates tumors found in brain, spine and lung cancer patients without a single incision. Equipped with advanced motion-management techniques, Edge helps radiation oncologists track tumor movement during treatment to protect surrounding healthy tissue.
