Comprehensive intensive care for your newborn
Tucson Medical Center's NICU is a highly skilled 42-bed Level III nursery staffed 24/7 with neonatologists and an all-RN staff. The unit operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. TMC's NICU nurses provide expert and complex care to these critically ill infants. We nurture their growth and development, while working closely with a team that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and social workers. Our families are an important part of the team as well.Your family is important to us. Having a baby in the intensive care unit can be a stressful and difficult experience for families.
