Cardiac Rehabilitation
We help those with heart disease return to an active life and reduce their risk of later heart problems. This program is for those who have had a heart attack, coronary artery bypass surgery, chest pains, heart valve repair or replacement, angioplasty, stent placement, or heart and lung transplant.
Call 911 if you are seriously injured or feel you need emergency care. Emergency responders will help you decide the best course of action.

Tucson Medical Center (TMC) offers a cardiac rehabilitation program that is medically supervised and tailored to your individual needs. Exercise is a key component of cardiac rehabilitation. TMC's program offers a variety of exercise options, including treadmill walking, cycling, and weight training. All exercise sessions are closely monitored by a staff member.Education is a critical component of cardiac rehabilitation. You will learn about heart disease, risk factors, and how to live a healthy lifestyle. Counseling can also be an important part of cardiac rehabilitation. TMC's program offers individual and group counseling to help you cope with the emotional challenges of heart disease.
