Inpatient Pediatric Care

We understand that for kids and their parents, coming to the hospital can be a scary experience. That's why we created TMC for Children's pediatric unit with families in mind. From certified pediatric nurses and physicians to child life specialists, TMC is here to put your child's care first.

Call 911 if you are seriously injured or feel you need emergency care. Emergency responders will help you decide the best course of action.

Providing safe, comfortable child care

We’ve designed our inpatient unit at TMC for Children to be as comfortable as possible for your child and family. The unit, comprised of 33 private rooms, offers a place for your child to read, watch television and play video games inside or outside their room during their stay at TMC for Children. Kids who are well to go outside can play in our secure, outdoor play space.
Each private room is comprised of a cot, pull-out chair or window bed with extra linens so you can always be near your child. Rooms also have dedicated DVD players, with access to iPads loaded with age-appropriate games. On the unit, you will find other games, wagons and tricycles. If it helps ease your child’s fears, they can bring favorite items from home. Our goal at TMC for Children is to integrate patient- and family-centered care into all aspects of the hospital experience, and ensure that your child's care comes first. For patients needing intensive care:
